Our IT Service Delivery team is looking for a System Administrator to join our team! The System Administrator will be responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. You will make sure that all systems are in line with company standards and adheres to security best practices.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Perform daily security monitoring, verifying the integrity of hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, and identify any possible intrusions
  • Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs (i.e. backups)
  • Install new/rebuild services and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in line with standards and project/operational requirements
  • Assist in architecture design reviews and update critical business continuity and incident response plans
  • Develop, document, and maintain installation and configuration procedures
  • Research and recommend proactive system approaches for system administration tasks
  • Apply OS and software patches as well as upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities

What We Are Looking For: 

  • 5+ years of experience in systems administration/help desk support issues
  • Solid technical knowledge of network, data engineering, data center systems, and deployment methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar field preferred
  • Experience supporting servers, desktops, laptops and printers in a geodiverse environment (1,000+ users)
  • Background working with security issues including malware/virus prevention, system hardening, and vulnerability management
  • Experience with data center operations, system monitoring, and security policies
  • Experience working with managed service providers to assist in troubleshooting large, high-impact issues
  • Proficiency with Windows, Google, Cisco, and CentOS server environments
  • Certifications in MCSA/MCSE, VCP, Cisco, ITIL, and CISSP preferred but not required
